When Abigail reached out to me to renovate her kitchen, I was SOOO excited to tackle this project.

She wanted to rip out all of the existing cabinets, flooring, and lights, and do it all again! Her dream wishes for the kitchen: bright and airy, modern, and something that felt like home. Abigail was looking for a fresh start with her two girls, and they collectively nicknamed this project “Project Genesis.”
We got demolition underway and took out absolutely everything.

Next, I had to get some electrical done to remove existing appliances and change the configuration of some outlets and light switches. Once this was done, the flooring went in. This is a 12 x 24 porcelain tile. It’s durable and easy to maintain. This went in across the entire floor including the bathroom, laundry room, and hallway. And once the flooring was in, it was time to install the kitchen cabinets and beautiful quartz stone for both our waterfall countertops as well as this INSANE hood only seen in multi-million dollar kitchens.
Here is the finished product!

We also added some really cool features to this kitchen like hidden appliance storage and a hidden garbage can area.

You can see other transformations as part of the Project Genesis renovation, including the 24-hour bathroom flip, and the double-closet project!
